Strategic cooperation with NN Technical Services: achievements in 2023 and plans for the future

The mining industry plays an important role in the Russian economy, but its development faces a number of challenges, such as depletion of reserves, deterioration in the quality of raw materials and high production costs. In this regard, strategic cooperation with experienced partners becomes a key success factor. One of these partners is the Norilsk Nickel Technical Services company, which specializes, among other things, in
geological exploration work.

As part of a long-term cooperation that began in 2021, 8 projects to conduct hydrogeological research and supervise installation of string piezometers in wells within the Talnakh ore cluster have been successfully completed. In 2023 alone, SMT Consulting specialists conducted 58 experiments in 6 wells on the surface and 88 experiments in 14 wells in the Oktyabrsky mine, which significantly increased the hydrogeological knowledge of the host rocks.

Cooperation with NN Technical Services allows us to obtain a number of advantages, such as optimization of work, increased efficiency and reduced costs, which helps strengthen the position of the SMT company in the market. By interacting and exchanging each other’s experience, our companies can jointly solve complex technical problems in the field of mountain hydrogeology.
