Roman is engaged in planning, conducting and quality control of various hydrogeological test programs including those that use international techniques as part of studies of different levels (Scoping, PFS, FS). He has conducted cluster and single pumping tests (using conventional and air-lift pumps), well injections using packer equipment and installation of piezometer strings to record aquifer pressure and temperature in wells of up to 1,100 m deep. His project experience includes hydrogeological modelling and measurements of pore pressure in the rock mass, as well as assessments and audits of hydrogeological risks at mine sites.

For over 10 years Ivan has been involved in underground and open pit project studies at different stages. He is a professional user of various geotechnical software packages and has extensive experience in geotechnical modelling.

Ivan specializes in characterization of rock mass in accordance with international classifications: Rock Mass Rating (RMR), Modified Rock Mass Rating (MRMR, iMRMR), Barton Q System and others. He has experience in conducting trainings and organization of geotechnical data collection using international standards, as well as in control of geotechnical drilling and dealing with contractors.

He is a co-authorof the Federal Safety Rules and Standards: Rules for Ensuring Stability of Benches and Slopes of Open Pits and Waste Dumps.

Egor Kuleshov specializes in the management of interdisciplinary projects for the assessment of technological, economic and social risks of mining and processing enterprises, the preparation of expert opinions for credit institutions and private investors.

He has completed more than 40 technical and economic audits and estimates of mining companies’ reserves (coal, gold, uranium, potash salts, man-made placer deposits).

Egor’s professional experience in mining and geological consulting includes the search for optimal technical solutions, audits of enterprises in accordance with international standards, the search for promising licensed sites and enterprises for investment, the assessment of the regional raw material base, the development of Scooping Study, PFS, and company development strategies.

Among other areas of activity, it is worth noting the development of technical projects, operational inventory recalculation, optimization of production capacities, conducting ZIF tests at launch, and examination of feasibility studies of conditions as an expert of the GKZ.

Work experience – more than 18 years. This includes 3 years as a mining engineer at the design institute, 2 years as a chief mining engineer at Atomredmetzoloto (PPGHO and Elkonsky MMC) and 13 years as a project manager in mining and geological consulting. He has been an active expert at the GKZ since 2015.

Ekaterina has over 10 years of environmental protection experience in consulting companies.

She has experience in applying both the Russian environmental legislation and good international industry practice (GIIP), as well as Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) such as Equator Principles and international requirements of the World Bank Group (including International Finance Corporation, IFC), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), International Council for Mining and Metals (ICMM) and JORC Code. Ekaterina specializes in Environmental and Social (E&S) baseline studies, ESIA, E&S due diligence; preparation of environmental sections for Scoping / PFS / FS reports, Resource and Reserve reports, CPR, stakeholder engagement and supervision of ARDML studies.

He has more than 15 years of experience in the field of processing and enrichment of mineral raw materials, including the full cycle of project implementation – from the preparation of feasibility studies to the development of technical projects and participation in bank technical audits.

Specializes in optimizing processing technology schemes, assessing the quality of the raw material base, analyzing technological regulations, selecting and calculating basic technological equipment, as well as calculating key technological indicators of processing plants.

Professional experience includes working with ore and placer deposits of gold, copper and iron ore objects, preparation of sections of technical documentation (ScopingStudy, Pre-Feasibility Study, feasibility study of temporary and permanent conditions), participation in the calculation of reserves according to the JORC Code, analysis of design and permits, registration of GPP and obtaining construction permits.

Conducts technical audits for banks and investors, including an assessment of the completeness of research, the correctness of design decisions and the achievability of declared technological indicators. Performs the development of research programs, project support at the investment stage and preparation of expert opinions for financial organizations.

Alexander has joined the consulting practice having 11 years of experience in the mining sector, including experience at mines and in design institutes. During his professional career, Alexander has gained extensive experience performing a wide range of activities: mining and transport estimations and graphical constructions at various design stages, estimation of the optimal pit depth using various methods (including NPV Scheduler and Micromine software – Pit Optimizer module); planning of open pits and waste dumps and volume estimation using specialised software for mining and 3D geological modelling (Micromine, Datamine, Deswik); mining-and geometric analysis of an open pit minefield; scheduling of mining and stripping operations; estimation of open pitcapacity using various methods; calculation of ore losses and dilution; mine optimization,selection of mining and transport equipment and calculation of equipment productivities; estimation of mining equipment and personnel requirements; accounting of reserves that have been accessed, prepared and ready for extraction; development of data sheets for mining operations; designer supervision at mine sites, and preparation of ToRs for design work.

Alexander has experience in managing projects and engineering teams. He is a professional user of specialized software such as AutoCAD, Datamine, NPV Scheduler, Micromine, Deswik and MS Project. In his work, he uses the knowledge of regulatory documents in the field of design, construction and operation of open-pit mines (FNiP, PB, RD, SP, SNiPs, GOSTs, VNTP, etc.).

In CMT, he is involved in preparation of mining sections for different types of projects: CPR, Technical Audits, Due Diligence, Scoping Study, Pre-Feasibility Study and Feasibility Study.

Anna has over 9 years of experience in the financial and investment valuation of mining projects. Her professional background includes the development of financial and economic models for mineral deposit development at various stages, including Pre-Feasibility Study, Feasibility Study, technical-economic substantiation of mining parameters, and the economic sections of project documentation (Basic Engineering, FEED, Detailed Design). She has experience in submitting and defending projects before the State Commission on Mineral Reserves (GKZ) and the Central Commission on Mineral Resources (TsKR).

Anna conducts market analysis for the commodity products of mining and metallurgical projects, prepares business plans and project development concepts, as well as presentations for investment committees and external investors. The financial model of the Tyrnyauz Mining and Metallurgical Complex developed by Anna has been included in the financial model database of the educational project SF Education as an example of an industry-specific model in the Metals & Mining sector.

Anna contributes to the financial and economic sections of projects at various levels: CPR, comprehensive due diligence, Scoping Study, Pre-Feasibility Study, and Feasibility Study.

Dmitry has more than 10 years of experience in the mining industry. During his career, he gained experience in geological exploration at various stages: from field reconnaissance, including selection of lithogeochemical samples from secondary dispersion halos to core and underground mine logging and operational supervision at the existing mines. Dmitry’s key competencies include preparation of JORC-compliant Mineral Resource reports, development of deposit evaluation methods for short-, medium- and long-term planning purposes, sampling quality control (QAQC), preparation of mine production plans, design and supervision of drilling operations using slurry and core drill rigs, preparation of reconciliation reports and annual reports for state regulatory authorities, oriented core logging and drilling supervision. In CMT, Dmitry is involved in geological modelling and report preparation as part of various projects. He is proficient in using specialized software such as Micromine, Datamine, AutoCAD and Leapfrog.

He has more than 13 years of experience in the field of geological studies of mineral deposits. The experience covers various aspects of geological practice and a wide range of mineral resource assessments, including gold, iron ore, polymetallic ores, and coal.

Specializes in resource modeling; preparation of mineral resource assessment reports in accordance with the JORC Code, as well as reserve reporting approved by the GKZ; development of block models for short- and long-term planning; analysis of discrepancies and model quality control.

In the company, SMT performs geological modeling, assessment of Mineral resources, participates in the preparation of reports within the framework of various projects in accordance with Russian and international standards (CPR, Feasibility Study, Pre-Feasibility Study, Due Diligence).

He owns specialized programs: Micromine, LeapFrog, Surpac.

Work experience – more than 9 years in the field of resource geology and research in the framework of mining projects. Professional experience covers all stages of geological research – from field work to project protection, inventory assurance and management of the geological survey, and also includes planning and geological support of mining operations, development of drilling programs, monitoring compliance with established standards for all exploration processes, preparation of reports on the results of exploration and production work, analysis of geological data/statistical and geostatistical analysis, database quality assessment, wireframe and block modeling.

He owns specialized software: Micromine, LeapFrog Geo, and ArcGIS.

Alexander has more than 40 years of theoretical and practical experience in geotechnical engineering. He was involved in establishing geotechnical teams at mines and led training courses for geotechnical engineers in companies such as Kazakhmys, Kazzinc, Kazminerals, Polymetal, Polyus and Nordgold.

For supervisory authorities and the Government of Kazakhstan, he completed the study to justify the re-mining of pillars with roof caving to stabilize geotechnical conditions at Jezkazgan deposit. Alexander facilitated the introduction of a new technology of pillar extraction for re-mining operations at Jezkazgan deposit, which enabled over 20 Mt of ore to be extracted from pillars.

He has developed a method for assessment of pillar stability and redistribution of stresses during pillar extraction. He took part in the development of a comprehensive void monitoring programme based on pillar conditions, rock mass seismics, ground movement and estimates.

Alexander has also developed a method to back calculate ore pillar strength properties based on pillar bursts due to rock stresses and proposed guidelines to determine permissible pillar conditions for re-mining operations.

Sergey has more than 7 years of professional experience in the field of geological exploration, including all responsibilities of the geological service that cover core logging and ditch mapping, design of advance and grade control drilling, metallurgical sampling, structural mapping, justification of exploration grids, conducting grade control drilling, quality control of sampling and laboratory works (QA/QC). In CMT, he is engaged in geological-structural and block modelling, collection of field data, JORC-compliant mineral resource and ore reserve estimation, and participates in various open-pit and underground mining projects.

Igor has experience in the structural analysis of mineral deposits and mining engineering. His operational experience covers mine geology and hydrogeology. He has worked in the geotechnical and engineering laboratory where he gained experience in the geotechnical assessment of mine development, including geotechnical tests of

He has experience in managing the geotechnical service at the mine, personnel management and experience in establishing links between different departments and services. Prior to joining consulting, he worked in manufacturing in the field of geomechanics and geology. Professional experience includes the organization and support of geomechanical and mining operations at the enterprise, participation in geological prospecting and exploration, development and pilot testing of various types of rock supports and new geotechnologies that increase mining efficiency, participation in the planning and design of mining operations, in conducting internal geomechanical audits and geomechanical monitoring, in the development of PSM and risk management methods with training for the entire mine staff on identification and risk management.

He owns specialized software: Leapfrog, AutoCAD, Micromine, Rocscience (Dips, UnWedge, RS2, RS3, Slide, RSData), Deswik.CAD, CorelDRAW.

Vadim takes part in open-pit mining projects at various stages. He specializes in quality control of geotechnical data collection and analysis, as well as control and organization of geotechnical drilling and laboratory tests to determine mechanical properties of rocks. He uses various geotechnical software packages and is vastly experienced in geotechnical modelling. His experience also includes construction of surfaces using photogrammetric methods and collection of structural data from the models developed.

Andrey takes part in geotechnical design studies of various levels. He joined the consulting practice after graduation with honours. During his student’s years, he annually underwent practical trainings at operating mines where he acquired valuable professional skills being engaged in the following tasks: geodetic measurements, collection and analysis of geotechnical data, geotechnical rock testing and numerical modelling. Andrey is a professional and active user of the following software: Compass, Dips, Core profiler, UnWedge, Examine, Slide2 and Microsoft Office. He is a member of the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE).

Mikhail has more than 15 years’ experience in the hydrogeological modelling, which includes epignosis and predictive groundwater flow and migration modelling, estimation of water inflows into mine workings, development of dewatering and groundwater protection measures and assessment of their efficiency, interpretation of hydrogeological testing results, geostatistical data processing, optimization of hydrogeological and hydrogeochemical monitoring systems. His additional experience inlcudes comprehensive assessment of deposit mining impacts on groundwater conditions (hydrogeochemical effects, changes in water balance and spatial structure of groundwater flow, calculation of damage to river flows and fresh groundwater reserves). He is a professional user of specialized software such as Surfer, ArcGis, QGIS, Leapfrog, Processing Modflow, Visual Modflow, Model Muse, GMS, Logos Hydrogeology and Ansdimat.

Nikita has experience in hydrogeological testing, including packer tests using the IPI SWIPS single and double packer systems, and the study of temperature and dynamic conditions of groundwater and sub-permafrost aquifers. He is also involved in planning, budgeting and analytical interpretation of aquifer tests in the ANSDIMAT and Leapfrog software packages.

Sofia participates in projects of different levels (Scoping Study, Pre-Feasibility Study) and technical audits where she is involved in estimation of water inflows, data preparation for modelling, processing and analysis of field hydrogeological test results. She is also engaged in preparation and collation of reports on the field work results.

Ilya has experience in hydrogeological testing, ncluding packer tests using the IPI SWIPS and Geopro packer systems and the study of temperature and dynamic regime of groundwater and sub-permafrost aquifers. He is also involved in analytical interpretation of aquifer tests in the ANSDIMAT software.

In CMT, Evgeniya provides administrative support for complex multidisciplinary projects and is responsible for administrative and logistics management as part of field geotechnical and hydrogeological projects.

She has effective communication skills, including engagement with contractors, and plays a key role in the company maintaining the time management system.

Ksenia is an expert in environmental and social aspects of the mining industry and specializes in production impact assessment and reporting in accordance with international codes.

She has over ten years’ experience in environmental and social consulting. She took part in environmental and social studies for various projects, including for the mining sector. She has experience in applying both the national legislation and the global best practices such as the Equator Principles, requirements of the World Bank Group (WB), including the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the International Council for Mining and Metals (ICMM), OECD Guidelines, JORC Code and ISO 14001:20015.

Maria has more than 5 years of experience in the field of environmental monitoring and consulting, including organizing and conducting environmental studies, collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, environmental and social impact assessment, environmental audits and stakeholder engagement. She participated in environmental and social studies as part of various projects, including for the mining sector.

She has experience in applying both the national legislation and the global best practices.

Ekaterina has more than 12 years’ experience in consulting and environmental engineering surveys. She specializes in the field of land use, data analysis and expert examination of environmental documentation. She has participated in the analysis of technical and estimate documentation as part of financial, technical and technological audits at the pre-investment and investment stages of project implementation, as well as in prejudicial examination of projects. Ekaterina has also participated in projects for the mining sector, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, chemical industry, woodworking and paper industries, as well as in waste management projects.
