Conducted training on hydrogeological support of mining operations
As part of the “Training and Education” service, Roman Bondarenko (Manager of CMT, head of geomechanics and hydrogeology) conducted full-time training in the advanced training program “Hydrogeological support of mining operations” at the Technical University in Verkhnyaya Pyshma. The course is intended for geomechanics of enterprises and specialists in the geomechanics department of mining enterprises.
The training program included the study of basic concepts and terms of mining hydrogeology, the relationship between geomechanics and hydrogeology, basic approaches to assessing and managing hydrogeological risks, methods for reducing pressures in the sides of quarries, approaches to assessing and managing hydrogeological risks, hydrogeological modeling, as well as basic approaches and methods for obtaining initial hydrogeological information.
During the training, cases were reviewed demonstrating the influence of hydrogeology on the stability of mine workings.
