In June 2024, SMT successfully completed packer studies in the GSS-1 monitoring well at the Oktyabrsky mine in Norilsk.
Based on the research results, up-to-date information on hydrogeological conditions was obtained, necessary for the development of design and working documentation for the reconstruction of the fastening and reinforcement of the SS-1 skip shaft.
A total of 27 interval experimental filtration studies were performed in the well using the Geopro packer system (Belgium), including 17 staged injections using the Lugeon test.
