He has developed a method for assessment of pillar stability and redistribution of stresses during pillar extraction. He took part in the development of a comprehensive void monitoring programme based on pillar conditions, rock mass seismics, ground movement and estimates.
Alexander has also developed a method to back calculate ore pillar strength properties based on pillar bursts due to rock stresses and proposed guidelines to determine permissible pillar conditions for re-mining operations.
Sergey has more than 7 years of professional experience in the field of geological exploration, including all responsibilities of the geological service that cover core logging and ditch mapping, design of advance and grade control drilling, metallurgical sampling, structural mapping, justification of exploration grids, conducting grade control drilling, quality control of sampling and laboratory works (QA/QC). In CMT, he is engaged in geological-structural and block modelling, collection of field data, JORC-compliant mineral resource and ore reserve estimation, and participates in various open-pit and underground mining projects.
Igor has experience in the structural analysis of mineral deposits and mining engineering. His operational experience covers mine geology and hydrogeology. He has worked in the geotechnical and engineering laboratory where he gained experience in the geotechnical assessment of mine development, including geotechnical tests of rocks, structural mapping of deposits and lithological and structural modelling.
Vadim takes part in open-pit mining projects at various stages. He specializes in quality control of geotechnical data collection and analysis, as well as control and organization of geotechnical drilling and laboratory tests to determine mechanical properties of rocks. He uses various geotechnical software packages and is vastly experienced in geotechnical modelling. His experience also includes construction of surfaces using photogrammetric methods and collection of structural data from the models developed.
Andrey takes part in geotechnical design studies of various levels. He joined the consulting practice after graduation with honours. During his student’s years, he annually underwent practical trainings at operating mines where he acquired valuable professional skills being engaged in the following tasks: geodetic measurements, collection and analysis of geotechnical data, geotechnical rock testing and numerical modelling. Andrey is a professional and active user of the following software: Compass, Dips, Core profiler, UnWedge, Examine, Slide2 and Microsoft Office. He is a member of the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE).
In CMT, Evgeniya provides administrative support for complex multidisciplinary projects and is responsible for administrative and logistics management as part of field geotechnical and hydrogeological projects.
She has effective communication skills, including engagement with contractors, and plays a key role in the company maintaining the time management system.

Vasily was engaged in the implementation of Geological and Mining Information Systems (GMIS) and Automated Mining Fleet Management Systems (ASU GTK), standard designs and certificates, as well as preparation of ToRs for the development of design and optimization solutions as part of commercial and contractual work. He has extensive experience in preparation of mining projects for the underground and open-pit development of gold ore and polymetallic deposits. He is also involved in the development and approval of placer deposit projects.
Alexander has joined the consulting practice having 11 years of experience in the mining sector, including experience at mines and in design institutes. During his professional career, Alexander has gained extensive experience performing a wide range of activities: mining and transport estimations and graphical constructions at various design stages, estimation of the optimal pit depth using various methods (including NPV Scheduler and Micromine software - Pit Optimizer module); planning of open pits and waste dumps and volume estimation using specialised software for mining and 3D geological modelling (Micromine, Datamine, Deswik); mining-and geometric analysis of an open pit minefield; scheduling of mining and stripping operations; estimation of open pitcapacity using various methods; calculation of ore losses and dilution; mine optimization,selection of mining and transport equipment and calculation of equipment productivities; estimation of mining equipment and personnel requirements; accounting of reserves that have been accessed, prepared and ready for extraction; development of data sheets for mining operations; designer supervision at mine sites, and preparation of ToRs for design work.

She has experience in applying both the Russian environmental legislation and good international industry practice (GIIP), as well as Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) such as Equator Principles and international requirements of the World Bank Group (including International Finance Corporation, IFC), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), International Council for Mining and Metals (ICMM) and JORC Code. Ekaterina specializes in Environmental and Social (E&S) baseline studies, ESIA, E&S due diligence; preparation of environmental sections for Scoping / PFS / FS reports, Resource and Reserve reports, CPR, stakeholder engagement and supervision of ARDML studies.

She specializes in the field of land use, data analysis and expert examination of environmental documentation. She has participated in the analysis of technical and estimate documentation as part of financial, technical and technological audits at the pre-investment and investment stages of project implementation, as well as in corporate investigations (forensics) and prejudicial examination of projects. Ekaterina has also participated in projects for the mining sector, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, chemical industry, woodworking and paper industries, as well as in waste management projects.
